Roles and Responsibilities of a Truck Driver:
- Convey both finished goods and raw materials
- Strategize and oversee distribution to manufacturing units, retail outlets, and distribution centers
- Scrutinize vehicles for mechanical issues
- Perform safety inspections
- Adhere to established rules and regulations
- Collect, analyze, and confirm delivery instructions
- Promptly report defects, accidents, or violations
- Execute preventative maintenance
- Devise optimal route selections
- Manage and fulfill delivery timetables
- Document and log work-related expenses
Requirements, Skills, and Qualifications for Truck Drivers
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Truck Driver
- Proficiency of 3 years with electronic equipment and software like GPS, AVL units, or CB devices
- Capability to undertake extended driving hours and frequent travel
- Must understand truck driving rules and regulations
- Clean driving record devoid of violations
- Willingness to undergo regular background checks and drug screenings
- Possession of a valid truck driving license
