Job Overview – Housekeeping Services Utility Worker
Under the supervision of the Assistant Manager, the Utility Worker is responsible for upholding the hospital’s cleanliness.
Responsibilities encompass cleaning, mopping, and dusting all sections within the hospital premises. Additionally, tasks involve floor maintenance (such as scrubbing and waxing), shampooing carpets and chairs, handling waste removal (both regular and hazardous), addressing chemical spills, assisting with laundry, preparing rooms for various purposes, cleaning windows (internally), applying salt during winter, tending to isolation room sanitation, and managing situations like floods and blood spills.

Completion of Grade 12/GED or equivalent professional background. Proficiency in effective communication. Applicants with expertise in cleaning and floor care will be given preference.
